Field conditions, truck configurations, and OEM variations mean the system must be surveyed, calibrated, maintained, and periodically updated to keep delivering its safety benefit. Ordered from UltraView (Australia); manufacture takes 3–4 weeks.
Step 2
Freight & customs
Sea freight to South Africa (4–6 weeks), then customs and transport to site.
Step 3
Survey & install
Truck survey and install, 4–6 hours per unit, by an auto electrician and mechanical fitter with UltraView oversight.
Step 4
Commission & support
Commissioning sign-off, then ongoing calibration and maintenance from a regional service footprint.
